About the job
Compensation

Competitive base salary, annual bonus, and relocation assistance A capital equipment manufacturer is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead equipment delivery programs and support expanding manufacturing operations. This is a visible opportunity to own complex builds, strengthen supplier execution, and help scale production across internal facilities and external manufacturing partners. We’re looking for someone who has taken sophisticated equipment from engineering release through manufacturing, testing, and customer delivery and understands how to keep engineering, materials, suppliers, and production moving together. What You’ll Do

  • Own project schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones from order handoff through equipment shipment.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Support new-product launches and the transition into consistent, repeatable production.
  • Coordinate material availability, engineering changes, equipment testing, and customer acceptance.
  • Hold manufacturing partners accountable for commitments and drive resolution of technical and production issues.
  • Communicate project status to leadership and customers while identifying opportunities to improve lead times and build quality. What You’ll Bring
  • Substantial experience managing complex capital equipment or machinery programs through manufacturing and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of bills of materials, mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, fabrication, and equipment testing.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers or contract manufacturers, managing changing priorities, and resolving production problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build effective relationships across technical and operational teams.
  • An engineering degree or related technical background. Semiconductor equipment experience is valuable; relevant aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment experience will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project scheduling tools. SAP and new-product introduction experience are pluses. Work & Travel This position requires five days onsite and domestic and international travel. Travel is expected to be approximately 25–50% during the first six months, with ongoing frequency based on business needs. If you enjoy taking ownership, solving manufacturing challenges, and seeing complex equipment through to customer delivery, we’d welcome a conversation.
