Process Controller

Responsibilities

• Operate the process computer system that controls the processing of various ingredients for specified formulas and make adjustments to feedstock to meet formula requirements.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Perform quality‑control checks on raw materials and precipitated stock, complete the required paperwork to document results of tests.
• Verify batch tank weights and calibrate equipment; document verification and calibration actions and perform routine maintenance on testing equipment.
• Participate in ISO 9000 procedures and help update procedures as they change; participate in process‑improvement efforts within own operation and as needed in other operations.
• Train new operators.
• Operate in a safe manner by following all plant safety procedures and ensuring the safety of employees when cleaning tanks.
• Understand and comply with plant environmental procedures. Other Requirements
• Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
• Must be able to work extended hours when required.
• All other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills
• High School Diploma required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Highly motivated.
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Excel; BPCS experience a plus.
• Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.
• Attention to detail.
• Metrics driven. Compensation Rate: $31.75 per hour.
