Overview We are seeking a skilled Access Control/CCTV Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Access Control & CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cabling and system design, along with hands-on experience using both power and hand tools. Duties
- Install and configure Access Control systems including surveillance cameras, and network cabling.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Access control systems and door controls to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to design Access control systems that meet client specifications.
- Detect and resolve issues related to cabling and system functionality promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments. Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to low voltage installations.
- Knowledgeable in surveillance system installation and maintenance.
- Experience with telecommunication systems and computer networking principles.
- Strong ability to detect issues within low voltage systems and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with cabling techniques and best practices for system design.
- Basic locksmithing skills!
