Role Summary The People & Talent Generalist serves in a key human resources generalist role responsible for managing core people programs and HR initiatives that support organizational goals and employee success, including talent acquisition, compliance, payroll and benefits administration, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and other HR operations. The People & Talent Generalist upholds the Foundation’s values of Accountability, Care and Excellence and helps to champion a supportive, people-first culture and a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, and offboarding, in partnership with the Managing Director.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, organizational policies, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for organizational effectiveness and clarity.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across the organization on employee engagement, recognition, culture, and learning & development programs, in alignment with organizational values, that support employee growth, recognition and retention.
  • Manage HRIS systems, records, and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide input on people-related strategies, organizational effectiveness, and talent management initiatives.
  • Research and analyze workforce trends, employee feedback, HR metrics, and organizational needs to recommend improvements and inform decision-making.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives on behalf of the People & Talent department, representing department goals and priorities.
  • Other People & Talent duties, as assigned.
