Competitive; based on experience, between $5,200 and $6,700 a month

Old Pine Decks is a rapidly growing outdoor living contractor specializing in custom decks, screened porches, covered porches, pergolas, stairs, railings, and outdoor structures throughout the Atlanta area. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and a positive team culture.

We are seeking a temporary Superintendent to help oversee active projects and crews during a busy construction season.

The Superintendent will serve as a field representative for Old Pine Decks, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role requires a strong construction background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and crews.

• Oversee multiple deck, porch, and outdoor living projects simultaneously
• Coordinate and supervise field crews and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site visits and quality control inspections
• Communicate project progress and updates with homeowners
• Troubleshoot construction challenges and develop practical solutions
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify material quantities
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
• Assist with punch list completion and project closeout
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment
• Represent Old Pine Decks professionally with clients and vendors
• Assist with crew support, training, and field problem-solving

• Experience in deck building, porch construction, residential framing, or related carpentry work
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and best practices
• Ability to read plans, layouts, and construction drawings
• Experience managing crews and coordinating multiple projects
• Comfortable interacting directly with homeowners
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Access to a pickup truck for transporting tools, materials, and jobsite equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
