Partner with business leaders across the organization to provide guidance on risk and compliance mattersMonitor regulatory developments and help assess their impact on company operations, products, and processesCoordinate and support regulatory examinations, audits, reviews, and information requestsAssist in maintaining and strengthening the organization's risk management frameworkParticipate in compliance monitoring, testing, and governance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirementsSupport risk reporting, risk assessments, and enterprise-wide risk initiatives, including ORSA-related effortsHelp manage insurance filings, regulatory reporting obligations, and implementation of new requirementsDevelop, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controlsContribute to product-related compliance initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed

4-5+ years of experience in insurance compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, or a related disciplinePrevious experience working within an insurance carrier environment is requiredKnowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance best practicesExperience interacting with regulators, supporting examinations, audits, or regulatory reporting processesFamiliarity with risk assessment methodologies and enterprise risk management conceptsAbility to work independently and take ownership of projects with minimal supervisionStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsLife & annuity experience is preferred; candidates from other insurance sectors will also be considered
