School Staffing Account Manager (Independent Contractor, Remote)

You already know the special education directors who are short a speech therapist in October. Now you can own those districts. You win the order. We recruit, screen and pay the therapists. You earn on every hour they work with students.

School districts must deliver the speech, OT and PT minutes written into every student's IEP. That's federal law under IDEA, so an open therapist seat is a compliance problem, not a wish-list item. Districts that can't hire fill the gap with contract therapists: recurring, hourly work that keeps paying you.

• Speech-language pathologists: CCC-SLP, clinical fellows, SLP assistants, bilingual and teletherapy
• School occupational and physical therapists
• School psychologists
• Behavior techs (RBT and BCBA)
• School nurses, special education teachers and paraprofessionals

Onsite or by teletherapy, for the school year, the semester or a caseload spike.

• Call the special education and student services directors you know and find the caseloads that aren't covered
• Sell therapists to districts, charter schools and education service agencies
• Hand each order to our recruiting team. You never source, screen or run payroll
• Stay the district's go-to person: renew assignments, add therapists and expand to more schools

• A recruiting team and a bench of speech-language pathologists in our network
• Therapists on our payroll. We invoice the district and cover wages, taxes, workers' comp and compliance

This is an independent 1099 role with no base salary. You're paid a share of the business you bring in:

• 25% of the net spread on every hour a contract therapist works, for the life of the assignment
• 10% of the placement fee on direct hires
• Paid on the 15th of the following month via Stripe, on money the district has actually paid

Net spread is what the district pays, minus the therapist's wages and employer burden.

Example for one school year: a district is billed 85 dollars an hour for a contract SLP. The therapist is paid 55 dollars an hour, and employer burden is about 10 dollars. That leaves about 20 dollars an hour of net spread, and your 25% is about 5 dollars an hour. At 37.5 hours a week for 36 weeks:

• 1 therapist: about $6,800
• 10 therapists: about $67,800
• 25 therapists: about $169,600

Rates and hours are illustrative. Real district rates vary by state, discipline and delivery, and earnings aren't guaranteed. Renewals for next school year keep paying.
